I am excited to be working with y'all this year. This is my second year teaching 6th Grade math at Nichols Intermediate! I am extremely excited for what is in store :) 

 

I was born, raised and educated in Indiana. After graduating in 2014 with my Bachelors of Science from Purdue University, I moved to South Africa where I worked in conservation education for part of the year for 3 years. I then permanently moved to Texas, where I later decided to pursue my passion in education. I was a paraprofessional for Response to Intervention (RtI) for 2017-2018 as I worked to become a teacher and began my teaching career in 2018! 

 

I am happily married to a 100% Texan and we have a beautiful baby girl who just turned 1!
